Community Service
Clean Chattanooga Community Service Project.
It takes teamwork to win championships...well it takes teamwork
to impact the community. Our belief is that if the Chattanooga Elite's only focus was basketball, then the impact would only be in basketball. We strive to impact the community by allowing the kids in our organization to realize that playing basketball is only one form of teamwork. That the same hard work it takes to excel in sports is the template you can use to succeed in life. We believe hard work is a transferable skill, and it can be used not just for the benefit of a particular individual but for the benefit of the community overall. That’s why each athlete that comes through our program will be asked to volunteer in some capacity to hopefully begin a life of helping others. Additionally, each of our teams participates in our Anti-Gun Violence Awareness Campaign by distributing business cards and talking about how gun violence affects our communities. Our older teams wear an orange patch as a symbol of our commitment to non-violence in our communities We are asking the community to invest in the Chattanooga Elite, as we invest in the athletes, and in turn we ask our players to invest back into the community...Again it takes teamwork.
